  4. 1/2 Cup Plus 1 Tbl. Whipping Cream
  5. 1/4 Cup (1/2 stick) Unsalted Butter, cut into pieces
  6. 12 oz. Semisweet Chocolate, chopped
  7. 1 tsp. Vanilla
  8.  
  9. Bring whipping cream and unsalted butter just to simmer in saucepan.  Remove from heat.  Add semisweet chocolate and vanilla extract and whisk until sauce is smooth. (Can be prepared 2 weeks ahead.  Cover and chill.  Before using, rewarm over medium-low heat, stirring frequently)
